AquaOptima RAS

Aquaoptima has delivered components and recirculation systems to several countries world wide for:

warm- and cold water species
fresh- and seawater

Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Tilapia, European Seabass and Seabream, Asian Seabass/Barramundi, Pollack, Turbot, Halibut, Atlantic Cod, Japanese Flounder, Tiger Puffer Fish, Eel.

Effluent and sludge treatment

With the ECO-TRAP installed in fish tanks the fish farmer has both control of feeding and an effective removal of particles from the effluent. Leading the effluent from ECO-TRAP to a microscreen filter from Salsnes Filter AS with a dewatering unit, gives a sludge with TDM of more than 20%. This sludge may be transported in container for further use as compost, land fills or other.

Rotifer production

AquaOptima, in collaboration with SINTEF Fisheries and Aquaculture, are developing a recirculation system for raising rotifers based on the experiences from several research project done in both Norway and other countries.
